Creation of the World
God created the world perfect. In the Garden of Eden lived the first people—Adam and Eve. They were happy until they succumbed to the temptation of the devil and broke God’s commandment. Because of their sin, the world was corrupted, and people began to suffer from illness, death, and evil.
The Coming of the Savior
But God did not abandon humanity. He promised to send a Messiah who would free people from their sins. This promised Messiah was born in Bethlehem about two thousand years ago. His name is Jesus Christ.
The Birth of Jesus Christ
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. On the night of His birth, shepherds heard angels proclaiming the birth of the Savior. Wise men came to worship Him, following a star that pointed the way.
The Life and Teachings of Jesus
Jesus spent His life preaching love, mercy, and forgiveness. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed miracles. His words inspired many to follow Him.
Suffering and Resurrection
However, the Jews did not accept Jesus, for their hearts were hardened by disbelief and misunderstanding. He was betrayed by one of His disciples, condemned, and crucified. But three days after His death, Jesus rose again, proving His divinity and victory over death.
Salvation Through Faith
Now every person has the opportunity to receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. By accepting His sacrifice, we gain hope for salvation and the restoration of our relationship with God.
